WHEREAS, Grace Bible Church, a distinguished faith institution with two locations in Virginia Beach and a location in Norfolk, celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2026; and
WHEREAS, Grace Bible Church began in 1991 in the Lynnhaven area of Virginia Beach and has expanded since to worship sites in Norfolk and the Strawbridge area of Virginia Beach in 2015 and 2022, respectively; and
WHEREAS, in 2025, members of Grace Bible Church performed 4,115 hours of community service, partnered with 12 local ministries, and spearheaded meaningful donation initiatives to assist individuals and families in need; and
WHEREAS, Grace Bible Church hosts more than 100 active community groups, helping its members grow in their faith while fostering connections with their fellow parishioners; and
WHEREAS, several members of Grace Bible Church have recently participated in service programs abroad, extending the church's global outreach; and
WHEREAS, Grace Bible Church has been led by a number of esteemed faith leaders over the years, including its current co-lead pastors, Eric Sanzone and Matt Breitenberg; and
WHEREAS, by serving as a beacon of hope and strength and as a source of uplifting spiritual guidance, Grace Bible Church has made a profound and lasting impact on countless lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Grace Bible Church hereby be commended for its legacy of service on the occasion of its 35th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Grace Bible Church as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the church's contributions to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and the Commonwealth.
