WHEREAS, Jillian Grim, a student at Radford High School, won the Virginia High School League Class 1/2 state diving championship at St. Catherine's School in Richmond on February 17, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Jillian Grim made history by winning her third consecutive state championship title; and
WHEREAS, Jillian Grim's work ethic and leadership motivated her fellow Radford High School Bobcats throughout the year and spurred the team to finish as state runners-up for the fifth year in a row; and
WHEREAS, Jillian Grim's accomplishments are the result of her hard work and determination, the leadership and guidance of her coaches and teachers, and the unwavering support of the entire Radford High School community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Jillian Grim hereby be commended for winning the Virginia High School League Class 1/2 state diving championship in 2026; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Jillian Grim as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her achievements and best wishes for her continued success.
