WHEREAS, Granier European Bakery and Cafe in Virginia Beach has brought the taste of Europe to the community of Virginia Beach for several years; and
WHEREAS, the first Granier European Bakery and Cafe opened in Barcelona in 2010, and the company quickly grew to more than 380 locations in Spain, Portugal, Italy, England, and the United States; and
WHEREAS, Granier European Bakery and Cafe offers eggs, omelets, croissants, sandwiches, toasts, salads, soups, and more to satisfy any breakfast or lunchtime craving; and
WHEREAS, Granier European Bakery and Cafe gives the utmost attention to the crafting of its menu and food, drawing on traditional recipes to ensure an authentically European dining experience; and
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Granier European Bakery and Cafe are a testament to the dedication of its staff, who work tirelessly to provide patrons with a pleasant and memorable dining experience; and
WHEREAS, as a beloved place for family and friends in Virginia Beach to gather and share a meal, Granier European Bakery and Cafe has helped to make the city a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Granier European Bakery and Cafe in Virginia Beach hereby be commended for its legacy of exceptional food and service; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Granier European Bakery and Cafe in Virginia Beach as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the restaurant's contributions to the Commonwealth.
