WHEREAS, Enoch Baptist Church, an esteemed house of worship in Virginia Beach, has greatly served the Hampton Roads community through various programs and endeavors; and
WHEREAS, guided by the church's motto, “Love Grows Here,” the members of Enoch Baptist Church are motivated to be agents of change and to dedicate themselves to improving the quality of life for all individuals; and
WHEREAS, in 2026, Enoch Baptist Church held a health and wellness fair that offered vital health screenings, educational panels, and partnerships with local medical providers to promote proactive care and healthier living and foster community wellness; and
WHEREAS, beyond its outreach initiatives, Enoch Baptist Church provides its congregation with inspirational spiritual leadership and joyous occasions for worship and fellowship; and
WHEREAS, by helping individuals grow in their faith and achieve their full potential, Enoch Baptist Church has made a positive and lasting impact on countless lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Enoch Baptist Church hereby be commended for its legacy of service in Virginia Beach and beyond; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Enoch Baptist Church as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the church's contributions to the Commonwealth.
