WHEREAS, in 2025, FeLynn Oriental Restaurant celebrated its 20th anniversary of service to the Virginia Beach community; and
WHEREAS, FeLynn Oriental Restaurant is named for its founder Fe Postrero and her daughter, Ferrielyn Santos; and
WHEREAS, Fe Postrero, who had managed multiple franchise businesses before owning her own restaurant, created FeLynn Oriental Restaurant with a mission to serve delicious food, welcome customers like family, and create a gathering place where community members can make lasting memories; and
WHEREAS, FeLynn Oriental Restaurant offers a range of authentic Filipino specialties that have delighted countless local residents and visitors; and
WHEREAS, after undergoing renovations to better serve the public, FeLynn Oriental Restaurant hosted a grand reopening celebration on May 10, 2025, and commemorated the restaurant's two decades of excellence; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That FeLynn Oriental Restaurant hereby be commended on the occasion of its 20th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to FeLynn Oriental Restaurant as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the restaurant's contributions to culinary life in Virginia Beach.
