WHEREAS, C. Elizabeth Williams, an esteemed education administrator and principal at Bren Mar Park Elementary School in Fairfax County, was named the Fairfax County Public Schools Region 6 Outstanding Principal for 2025; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Williams has a distinguished background in teaching, instructional coaching, and school administration and previously served as an assistant principal at several Fairfax County Public Schools before joining Bren Mar Park Elementary School as principal in 2019; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Williams has made a positive and transformative impact at Bren Mar Park Elementary School, cultivating a safe, supportive, and collaborative learning environment; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Williams establishes an annual theme that serves as a guiding principle for the Bren Mar Park community throughout the school year, uniting students and educators around shared values; and
WHEREAS, through her deep appreciation for diversity and commitment to equity, Elizabeth Williams places an emphasis on building strong and meaningful relationships with her students, families, and teachers, creating a positive and nurturing school culture in which everyone feels valued; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Williams inspires her students to recognize their potential and to pursue their dreams, helping them to achieve success both in and out of the classroom; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Williams mentors and empowers Bren Mar Park Elementary School's faculty and staff to embrace their roles as leaders of their classrooms, promotes transparency and clear communication, and provides compassionate guidance that fosters professional growth; and

WHEREAS, known for her infectious joy, optimism, and visionary leadership, Elizabeth Williams inspires those around her to recognize their potential, pursue their dreams, and strive for excellence both in and out of the classroom; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That C. Elizabeth Williams hereby be commended for being named the 2025 Fairfax County Public Schools Region 6 Outstanding Principal; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to C. Elizabeth Williams as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her contributions to education in Fairfax County and the Commonwealth.
