WHEREAS, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co., a general store specializing in coffee, local products, alcohol-free drink options, and trail provisions, recently opened on Main Street in downtown Round Hill; and
WHEREAS, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. was founded by veteran Trey Wirth, who served honorably for 25 years in the United States Coast Guard, achieving the rank of captain, before setting out on a new adventure in the food and retail industry; and
WHEREAS, Trey Wirth built Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. on the same principles that guided him in his military career, including service before self, attention to detail, and a relentless belief in partnerships; and
WHEREAS, in addition to its coffee bar, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. offers an array of products and fresh produce sourced from small businesses and farms in the area, promoting the success of the local economy; and
WHEREAS, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. has fostered community in Round Hill by hosting events and serving as a place where friends and neighbors can gather; and
WHEREAS, located in close proximity to the Appalachian Trail and other hiking trails, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. offers hiking equipment and other goods to assist hikers passing through on their journeys; and
WHEREAS, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. has cultivated its network and following by establishing various partnerships with local vendors and by actively seeking input from customers on social media; and
WHEREAS, with a commitment to becoming the center of social life in Round Hill, Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. promises to make a positive and lasting impact in the community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. on the occasion of its opening; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Trey Wirth, owner of Round Hill Farm to Trail Co., as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for its contributions to Round Hill and the Commonwealth.
