AN ACT Relating to the interbranch advisory committee; adding a 1
new section to chapter 2.76 RCW; and repealing RCW 2.76.800 and 2
2.76.900. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:4
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 2.76 RCW 5
to read as follows: 6
(1) The interbranch advisory committee may set its own meeting 7
schedule. The committee shall discuss issues of mutual concern 8
between the branches. Examples include, but are not limited to:9
(a) Funding legislative mandates; 10
(b) Initiatives related to access to justice; 11
(c) Issues of local concern; 12
(d) Courthouse security; and 13
(e) Court technology infrastructure. 14
(2) Staff support for the committee will be provided by the 15
administrative office of the courts. 16
NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. The following acts or parts of acts are 17
each repealed:18
(1) RCW 2.76.800 (Recommendations to legislature) and 2022 c 284 19
s 4; and 20
