BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:6

NEW SECTION. Sec. 101. The following acts or parts of acts are 9
each repealed:10

SURCHARGE ON HIGH GROSSING BUSINESSES AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS5
NEW SECTION. Sec. 201. The following acts or parts of acts are 6
each repealed:7
(1) RCW 82.04.288 (Surcharge on Washington taxable income over 8
$250,000,000— Exemptions. (Effective January 1, 2026, until December 9
31, 2029.)) and 2025 c 420 s 201; and 10
(2) 2025 c 420 s 202. 11
PART III12
ADVANCED COMPUTING SURCHARGE13
NEW SECTION. Sec. 301. 2025 c 420 s 301 is repealed.14
PART IV15
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS16
NEW SECTION. Sec. 401. RCW 82.32.805 and 82.32.808 do not apply 17
to this act.18
NEW SECTION. Sec. 402. If any provision of this act or its 19
application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the 20
remainder of the act or the application of the provision to other 21
persons or circumstances is not affected.22
NEW SECTION. Sec. 403. This act is necessary for the immediate 23
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of 24
the state government and its existing public institutions, and takes 25
effect April 1, 2026.26
