AN ACT Relating to requiring timely reimbursement of state 1
agencies and local jurisdictions mobilized under the Washington state 2
fire services mobilization plan; and amending RCW 43.43.964.3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:4
Sec. 1. RCW 43.43.964 and 2003 c 405 s 4 are each amended to 5
read as follows: 6
The Washington state patrol in consultation with the office of 7
financial management and the Washington military department shall 8
develop procedures to facilitate reimbursement to state agencies and 9
jurisdictions from appropriate federal and state funds when state 10
agencies and jurisdictions are mobilized by the chief under the 11
Washington state fire services mobilization plan. The Washington 12
state patrol shall ensure that these procedures provide reimbursement 13
to the host district ((in as timely a manner as possible )) and to 14
mobilized state agencies and jurisdictions within 60 days of the 15
conclusion of the mobilization. 16
