AN ACT Relating to emergency medical technician recertification; 1
and adding a new section to chapter 18.73 RCW. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:3
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 18.73 4
RCW to read as follows: 5
(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, an 6
emergency medical technician shall become recertified every three 7
years. 8
(2) An emergency medical technician who has been certified in 9
Washington for at least 10 years shall become recertified every six 10
years. 11
