AN ACT Relating to commercial shellfish fees; and adding a new 1
section to chapter 69.30 RCW. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:3
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 69.30 4
RCW to read as follows: 5
(1) The department shall not increase fees above the amounts 6
established as of June 30, 2025, for: 7
(a) A commercial shellfish harvest license; 8
(b) A shellstock shipper license; 9
(c) A shucker-packer plants license; 10
(d) An export certificate; 11
(e) Biotoxin testing; and 12
(f) Paralytic shellfish poisoning monitoring. 13
(2) The department shall not impose any additional licensing or 14
use fees for commercial shellfishers, shellstock shippers, and 15
shucker-packer plants through June 30, 2027. 16
