WHEREAS, The Ridgeline High School Falcons Volleyball Team in 1
Liberty Lake, with their first trip to the state tournament in 2024, 2
demonstrated remarkable perseverance, teamwork, and determination, 3
culminating in their victory at the Class 3A State Volleyball 4
Championship in Yakima, Washington; and 5
WHEREAS, The Falcons went undefeated in the Greater Spokane 6
League and claimed the district championship, securing a spot in the 7
state tournament; and 8
WHEREAS, The Falcons triumphed through a series of intense, five-9
set matches, including a hard-fought final against North Thurston, 10
claiming the state title with a 18-25, 25-13, 21-25, 25-13, 15-6 11
victory; and 12
WHEREAS, Key contributions came from Ridgeline's players, 13
including Brooklyn Hillman, Ryan Libey, Reagan Rothley, Jade 14
Livingston, Olivia Phipps, Araleigh Arnold, Rahni Greene, Lizzy 15
O'Connell, Kate Mulligan, Jane Holley, Bailey Hillman, Kyla Ross, and 16
Brynlee Allred who displayed exceptional skills and teamwork 17
throughout the tournament; and 18
WHEREAS, The victory was not only a testament to the individual 19
talent of the players but also to the leadership and coaching of the 20
Ridgeline Coaching Staff, whose vision, dedication, and commitment to 21
the development of the program helped guide the team to this 22
extraordinary achievement; and 23

WHEREAS, Ridgeline High School's volleyball program, founded only 1
a few years ago in 2021, has grown into a powerhouse, demonstrating 2
what can be achieved with hard work, putting your teammates first, 3
and perseverance; and 4
WHEREAS, The Falcons' Class 3A State Title serves as an 5
inspiration to all student-athletes, coaches, and communities 6
throughout Washington State, exemplifying the values of 7
sportsmanship, determination, and the pursuit of excellence;8
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Washington State House 9
of Representatives congratulate the Ridgeline High School Falcons 10
Volleyball Team, their coaches, and their families on winning the 11
2024 Class 3A State Volleyball Championship; and 12
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be 13
immediately transmitted by the Chief Clerk of the House of 14
Representatives to Ridgeline High School Volleyball Team, principal 15
Jesse Hardt, and coach Whitney Abell. 16
