AN ACT Relating to tuition waivers for tribal elders at 1
Washington's community and technical colleges; and adding a new 2
section to chapter 28B.15 RCW. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:4
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 28B.15 5
RCW to read as follows: 6
(1) Each community and technical college may waive all or a 7
portion of tuition fees and services and activity fees for tribal 8
elders over the age of 55 from eligible Indian tribes as defined in 9
RCW 43.376.010. 10
(2) The state board for community and technical colleges may 11
adopt and amend as necessary rules to implement this section.12
