AN ACT Relating to calculating the provider rate for certain 1
community residential services; adding a new section to chapter 2
71A.12 RCW; and creating a new section. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:4
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 71A.12 5
RCW to read as follows: 6
(1) The department shall use the King county classification for 7
the purposes of determining the provider rate in Snohomish county for 8
community residential service businesses as defined in RCW 9
74.39A.009. 10
(2) For purposes of this section, "provider rate" means the rate 11
for each tier that is specific to county categories.12
NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. If specific funding for the purposes of 13
this act, referencing this act by bill or chapter number, is not 14
provided by June 30, 2025, in the omnibus appropriations act, this 15
act is null and void.16
