AN ACT Relating to the installation of transportation 1
electrification infrastructure; and adding a new section to chapter 2
19.28 RCW. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:4
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 19.28 5
RCW to read as follows: 6
The installation of electric vehicle supply equipment at state-7
funded facilities must be performed by persons certified by the 8
electric vehicle infrastructure training program or a similarly 9
accredited program to ensure safety, effectiveness, and achieve 10
consistency in labor standards. This section does not apply to 11
installation projects under contract as of the effective date of this 12
section. 13
