AN ACT Relating to designating the Pacific geoduck as the state 1
clam; and adding a new section to chapter 1.20 RCW.2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:3
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 1.20 RCW 4
to read as follows: 5
The Panopea generosa, more commonly known as the Pacific geoduck, 6
is hereby designated as the official clam of the state of Washington.7
