An Act
relating to:
funding for home-delivered meals and making an

appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the Department of Health Services and the federal government provide funding for home-delivered meals for seniors. This bill increases by $250,000 in each of fiscal years 2025-26 and 2026-27 the amount appropriated to DHS for programs for senior citizens for the purpose of increasing the funding available for the home-delivered meals.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

Home-delivered meals.
In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the

appropriation to the department of health services under s. 20.435 (1) (dh), the
6
dollar amount for fiscal year 2025-26 is increased by $250,000 and the dollar
1
amount for fiscal year 2026-27 is increased by $250,000 to increase the funding
2
available for home-delivered meals under s. 46.80 (5) (a).
