AJR28,1,7
3
Whereas, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a gastrointestinal disorder of gut-
4
brain interaction that is characterized by recurring abdominal pain, bloating, and
5
altered bowel movement. Although many Americans suffer from individual
6
symptoms, they do not realize it is a medical condition called IBS, and for this

2
IBS, by raising public awareness, discovering innovative therapies, and providing
3
patient educational materials; and
AJR28,2,5
4
Whereas, Milwaukee’s iconic Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge will be lit purple
5
on April 18 in solidarity with IBS patients; now, therefore, be it

the Wisconsin
7

9
Wisconsin to support and participate in organizations, events, and activities that
10
