Whereas, the Milwaukee Academy of Science Novas Boys Basketball Team

won the 2025 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Basketball

Championship; and

Whereas, the Milwaukee Academy of Science Boys Basketball Team won the

first state championship in program history, defeating Freedom 57–54 in a Division
8
III thriller; and

Whereas, the Milwaukee Academy of Science Boys Basketball Team never

gave up on themselves, shooting 58 percent from the field in the second half to come
11
storming back from a six-point halftime deficit; and

Whereas, the Milwaukee Academy of Science Boys Basketball Team program

displayed incredible teamwork and consistency, riding a 17-game winning streak to

the championship, achieving an overall season record of 25–1; and

Whereas, Milwaukee Academy of Science Coach Agape Keys and the boys

basketball team have achieved a well-earned winning season and lasting legacy in

Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it
