An Act

relating to:
funding for a grant administration system for veterans
2
benefits programs and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases a Department of Veterans Affairs appropriation account in both fiscal years of the 2025-27 fiscal biennium for the purchase and ongoing maintenance of a new cloud-based grant administration system for veterans benefits programs.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

Veterans benefits management system; increase to segregated

In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department

of veterans affairs under s. 20.485 (2) (u), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2025-26

is increased by $1,887,200 and the dollar amount for fiscal year 2026-27 is
1
increased by $3,132,400 for the purchase and ongoing maintenance of a new cloud-
2
based grant administration system for veterans benefits programs.
