An Act

to create
20.155 (3) (e) and 196.379 of the statutes;
relating to:
the

Energy Innovation Grant Program and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Currently, the Office of Energy Innovation in the Public Service Commission administers the Energy Innovation Grant Program, which is funded with federal money from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The EIGP awards grants for projects related to energy efficiency and innovation.
This bill appropriates $10,000,000 in general purpose revenue in each fiscal year of the 2025-27 fiscal biennium for the EIGP.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
