Whereas, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Baseball Team won a

record-breaking third title after securing the 2025 NCAA Division III National
5
Championship on June 4, 2025; and

Whereas, after a historic tournament run, the UW-Whitewater Baseball Team

defeated Messiah University 21-5 in a best-of-three series, which the team swept,
8
setting a new DIII record with 74 runs scored over the course of the tournament

and finishing the season with 49 wins and 6 losses—the most in program history;

Whereas, the Warhawks scored double-digit runs in four out of five of the

College World Series tournament games in the 2025 season; and

in the top of the first inning, Sophomore Aaron Holland hit an RBI single to the left

in the top of the second inning, and Senior Darryl Jackson hit a single at the top of
