Sponsored by: Representative(s) Edwards A BILL for AN ACT relating to the official mythical creature of Wyoming; declaring the jackalope as the official mythical creature; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 8 ‑ 3 ‑ 121 is created to read: 8 ‑ 3 ‑ 121. State mythical creature. The jackalope, which, despite its name, appears as a jackrabbit with antlers throughout Wyoming gift shops and other areas of the state, is the official mythical creature of Wyoming. Section 2.
