Sponsored by: Representative(s) Walsh, Brechtel and Esquibel and Senator(s) Cooper A BILL for AN ACT relating to motor vehicle registration fees; providing an exemption for active members of the military forces as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 31 ‑ 3 ‑ 101(g) by creating a new paragraph (v) is amended to read: 31 ‑ 3 ‑ 101. Registration fees; exemptions. (g) Owners of the following vehicles are exempt from the payment of fees provided by subsections (a) and (b) of this section: (v) Up to three (3) vehicles owned by a person on active service with the military forces of the United States, who was a resident of Wyoming at the time of entering into active service and who continues to maintain his home of record in Wyoming. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2005. (END) 1 HB0073
