WORKING DRAFT 2005 STATE OF WYOMING 05LSO-0495 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0133 Highway patrol troopers. Sponsored by: Joint Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Interim Committee A BILL for AN ACT relating to the department of transportation; authoring additional Wyoming highway patrol officers; providing an appropriation and authorizing positions; and providing for an effective date. Section 1. In addition to any other appropriation for the Wyoming highway patrol, there is appropriated for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2005 one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the state highway fund to the department of transportation to hire, train and equip twenty (20) additional highway patrol troopers. Section 2. The department of transportation is authorized an additional twenty (20) full-time positions for purposes of this act. Section 3. This act is effective July 1, 2005. (END) 1 HB0133
