AN ACT relating to hunting; providing for the use of electronic sights; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

306(b)(intro) and by creating a new subsection (f) is amended to read:

Use of aircraft, automobiles, motorized and snow vehicles and artificial light for hunting or fishing prohibited; exception; penalties.

(b)

No person shall take any wildlife with the aid of or by using any artificial light or lighting device

except as provided in subsection (f) of this section and
except that predators may be taken with the aid of an artificial light or lighting device by:

(f)

Nothing in this section shall prohibit the use of electronic sighting equipment employing holographic imagery or laser generated reticle projections.

Section 2.
This act is effective July 1, 2005.
