FIFTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING
2005 GENERAL SESSION

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

(a)

There is appropriated from the general fund to the state forestry division three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000.00) for the purpose of leasing a helicopter for fire suppression for a period of up to one hundred twenty (120) days during the fire season.

(b)

Four (4) additional seasonal positions are authorized for the state forestry division to provide helicopter support services and, when not engaged in fire suppression activities, to perform forestry project work as authorized by W.S. 36

108(b). The division shall obtain additional helicopter crew support as appropriate from local and county fire service entities.

This act is effective immediately upon co

pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit
