Subject: Authorizes political subdivisions to receive funding from the state water pollution control revolving loan account. Summary/Major Elements: The state water pollution control revolving loan account is administered by the state loan and investment board (SLIB) and is used to loan monies to public entities for the construction of wastewater treatment facilities. Current law allows financial assistance to be given to municipalities, counties, joint powers boards and state agencies. Bill allows other political subdivisions to receive funding from the account.
WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL HOUSE BILL NO. 0252 ENROLLED ACT NO. 88, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FIFTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2005 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to water pollution; amending the state water pollution control revolving loan account as specified; authorizing certain entities to be eligible to receive funding from the account; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 16 ‑ 1 ‑ 203(b)(ii) is amended to read: 16 ‑ 1 ‑ 203. Account administration; board powers and duties; department powers and duties; fiscal procedures. (b) The board shall: (ii) Receive and review applications for financial assistance from the account from municipalities, counties, joint powers boards , and state agencies and other entities constituting a political subdivision under the laws of the state on forms supplied by the board; Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2005.
