Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

402(b) is amended to read:

General powers and duties of board; eligibility for parole; immunity.

(b)

A prisoner is not eligible for parole if he has
been convicted of a crime committed while under sentence in an institution or while subject to trial on a criminal charge, if any element of the crime includes
:

(i)

Made
Making
an assault with a deadly weapon upon any officer, employee or inmate of any institution; or

(ii)

Escaped, attempted
Escaping, attempting
to escape or
assisted
assisting
others to escape from any institution.

Section 2.
This act is effective July 1, 2005.
