allowance under the state highway patrol, game and fish warden and criminal
investigator retirement program is 50% of the highest average salary of the
member for duty-connected or ordinary total or partial disability.

This bill retains the 50% disability allowance for ordinary total or
partial disability, but increases the total or partial disability allowance for
duty-connected disability to 62.5%.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Eligibility and amount of disability allowance.

(d)

Disability allowances shall be fifty percent (50%) of highest average salary for
duty-connected or
ordinary total or partial disability.
Disability allowances shall be sixty-two and one-half percent (62.5%) of highest average salary for duty-connected total or partial disability.

Section 2.
This act is effective July 1, 2005.
