Subject: Requires additional report from select committee on developmental programs on services to adults and preschool children. Summary/Major Elements: The Select Committee on Developmental Programs was created by 2004 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 104, and charged with studying the Developmental Disability Division's program for services to adults and its program for developmental preschool services. The committee filed a report on the adult programs as required on October 1, 2004. The report on preschool services is due October 1, 2005. This act requires an additional report from the committee on the Department of Health's implementation of the committee's 2004 recommendations for the adult program. Comments: The select committee shall report to the legislature and the governor by October 1, 2005, on the implementation of recommended changes in delivery of services to adults with developmental disabilities.
WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL SENATE FILE NO. 0043 ENROLLED ACT NO. 71, SENATE FIFTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2005 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to the administration of the government; amending duties of the select committee on developmental programs as specified; requiring a report; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. 2004 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 104, Section 2(d) is amended to read: Section 2. (d) The select committee shall report to the legislature and the governor not later than October 1, 2004, on conclusions and recommendations developed under subsection (c) of this section , and shall further report to the legislature and the governor not later than October 1, 2005 on continued examination of issues identified and the implementation status of recommendations developed under subsection (c) of this section . Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon co m pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit u tion.
