AN ACT relating to the electrical board; increasing membership of the board; modifying restrictions on eligibility for board membership; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

Divisions created; council and board created.

(c)

The board consists of
three (3)
five (5)
members appointed by the governor for six (6) year terms.
At least o

shall be
a journeyman electrician

No two (2) members shall be employed by the same entity and serve on the board. Any member who becomes employed by the same entity as another member during his term of office shall be ineligible to continue as a member of the board.
Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term. When new appointments are made, the board shall select a chairman and a secretary. A quorum consists of
two (2)

members. The board shall meet at least twice each year.

Section 2.
Notwithstanding the six (6) year term provided in W.S. 35

103(c), the initial term of one (1) member of the electrical board appointed under this act shall expire on March 1, 2010.

Section 3.
This act is effective July 1, 2006.
