WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL SENATE FILE NO. 0052 ENROLLED ACT NO. 4, SENATE FIFTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2006 BUDGET SESSION AN ACT relating to Curt Gowdy state park; amending boundary description; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 36 ‑ 8 ‑ 601(a) is amended to read: ARTICLE 6 GRANITE RESERVOIR, CRYSTAL RESERVOIR AND UPPER NORTH CROW RESERVOIR AREAS 36 ‑ 8 ‑ 601. Description and declaration of Curt Gowdy state park. (a) The lands in Laramie county and Albany counties known as the Granite Reservoir , area Crystal Reservoir and Upper North Crow Reservoir areas described as follows are hereby declared to be a state park: (i) T ownship 14 north, range 70 west, 6th p.m., section 15: NW1/4 SW1/4 and S1/2 SW1/4; section 16: S1/2 SW1/4; SE1/4; section 21: N1/2 N1/2; section 22: N1/2 NW1/4; SE1/4 NW1/4; SE1/4 SE1/4; NE1/4 SE1/4; section 23: S1/2 SW1/4; section 26: SW1/4 NE1/4; W1/2 SE1/4 NE1/4; E1/2 NW1/4; that portion of W1/2 NW1/4 lying easterly of the existing fence delineating grazing use and for keeping stock from the reservoir; that portion of NW1/4 SE1/4 lying northerly of the existing fence delineating grazing use and to keep stock from the reservoir; that portion of W1/2 NE1/4 SE1/4 lying north of the north R/W line of county road number 26; section 8: SE1/4 NE1/4; NE1/4 SE1/4; containing 1,080 acres more or less. section 8: SE1/4 NE1/4, N1/2 SE1/4 less: 5.26 acres more or less in the NW1/4 SE1/4 section 8; described as follows: beginning at a point 700' west of the northeast corner of the NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of section 8, thence west 620' to the northwest corner of the NW1/4 of the SE1/4; thence south 273' along the west line of the NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of section 8, thence south 72 degrees 37 minutes 00 seconds east 649', thence north 467' to the point of beginning; (ii) Township 14 north, range 70 west, 6th p.m., section 15: NW1/4 SW1/4 and S1/2 SW1/4; section 16: S1/2 SW1/4; SE1/4; section 20: N1/2 N1/2; section 21: N1/2 N1/2; section 22: NW1/4; NE1/4 NE1/4; S1/2 NE1/4; SE1/4 SW1/4; NE1/4 SE1/4; S1/2 SE1/4; section 23: S1/2 SW1/4; S1/2 NW1/4 SW1/4; S1/2 SW1/4 SE1/4; section 26: N1/2; N1/2 S1/2; (iii) Township 14 north, range 70 west, 6th p.m., section 25 : W1/2 NW1/4, SE1/4 NW1/4; less .85 acres also less (20 acres) a parcel in the W1/2 of section 25, described as follows: beginning at the center 1/4 of said section 25, being monumented by a found 3 1/4" aluminum cap stamped "S.D. Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon co m pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit u tion.
