WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL HOUSE BILL NO. 0039 ENROLLED ACT NO. 94, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FIFTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2007 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to volunteer firemen's pension fund; increasing the maximum annual cost of living increase; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 35 ‑ 9 ‑ 608(k)(vi) is amended to read: 35 ‑ 9 ‑ 608. Benefits enumerated; death of participant or spouse; amount and payment of contributions; withdrawal from plan. (k) Effective July 1, 2001, and each July 1 thereafter, any retirement or survivor benefit received by eligible individuals under this article shall be adjusted as follows: (vi) The total benefit adjustment under this subsection shall not exceed two percent (2%) three percent (3%) in any one (1) year. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2007.
