WORKING DRAFT 2007 STATE OF WYOMING 07LSO-0101.E1 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0055 State park roads. Sponsored by: Joint Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Interim Committee A BILL for AN ACT relating to state parks; providing appropriations for road repair and maintenance in state parks and historic sites; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. (a) There is appropriated from the general fund to the department of state parks and cultural resources six million seven hundred seven thousand four hundred twenty-nine dollars ($6,707,429.00) for repair , with the assistance of the Wyoming department of transportation, of roads in state parks and historic sites for the remainder of the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2008. Funds appropriated under this subsection shall be one-time funding and shall not be contained in the department's 2009-2010 standard budget request. (b) There is appropriated from the general fund to the department of state parks and cultural resources one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000.00) for ongoing repair and maintenance of roads in state parks and historic sites for the remainder of the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2008. The department shall include a request for funds in its 2009-2010 standard budget request to continue funding for ongoing road repair and maintenance in the amount appropriated under this subsection, as adjusted for inflation. Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon co m pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit u tion. (END) 1 HB0055
