WORKING DRAFT 2007 STATE OF WYOMING 07LSO-0485 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0131 Jury duty. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Blake A BILL for AN ACT relating to jury duty; providing for the protection of a juror's employment as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 1 ‑ 11 ‑ 401(a) is amended to read: 1 ‑ 11 ‑ 401. Protection of jurors' employment. (a) No employer shall subject an employee to discharge, loss of pay, loss of sick leave, loss of vacation time, or threaten to discharge, intimidate or coerce any employee by reason of the employee's jury service, for the attendance or scheduled attendance in connection with jury service, in any court in the state of Wyoming , except an employer may reduce the pay of an employee by an amount equal to any compensation, other than expenses, paid by the court for jury duty . Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2007. (END) 1 HB0131
