Appropriates $18,500 in
general funds and the same in federal funds to the department of health to pay
for reimbursing nonstate employed members of the council for necessary expenses
incurred in the performance of council duties.

AN ACT relating to administration of the government; expanding the duties of the advisory council on aging; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

1207 by creating a new subsection (f) is amended to read:

(f)

In addition to any other duties prescribed by law the advisory council on aging shall advise the division on aging on long term care issues including, but not limited to, assisted living, adult day care, boarding homes, home health agencies, hospice care, hospital care, nursing care, personal care and other issues that may face the aging.

Section 2.

Eighteen thousand five hundred dollars ($18,500.00) is appropriated from the general fund and eighteen thousand five hundred dollars ($18,500.00) in federal funds to the department of health for the period ending June 30, 2008, for the cost of reimbursing nonstate employed members of the advisory council on aging for necessary expenses incurred in the performance of council duties.

Section 3.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
