Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

W.S. 8-1-103 by creating a new paragraph (ix) is amended to read:

Rules of construction for statutes.

(a)

The construction of all statutes of this state shall be by the following rules, unless that construction is plainly contrary to the intent of the legislature:

(ix)

Rights, privileges and benefits specifically granted to one gender shall be considered granted to the other gender by implication.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
