Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of

405(b) and by creating a new subsection (d) is amended to read:

Endangering children; controlled substances; penalty.

(b)

No person having the care or custody of a child shall knowingly and willfully permit the child to remain in a room, dwelling or vehicle where that person knows that methamphetamine is
currently
possessed, stored or ingested.

(d)

For purposes of this section, "child" means any person who has not yet reached the eighteenth anniversary of his birth.

Section 2.
This act is effective July 1, 2007.
