WORKING DRAFT 2007 STATE OF WYOMING 07LSO-0463.E1 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0267 Subdivision requirements-exemption. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Miller, Anderson, R. and Brown and Senator(s) Jennings and Meier A BILL for AN ACT relating to counties; providing an exemption to subdivision requirements as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 18 ‑ 5 ‑ 303(a) by creating a new paragraph (xi) is amended to read: 18 ‑ 5 ‑ 303. Exemptions from provisions. (a) Unless the method of sale or other disposition is adopted for the purpose of evading the provisions of this article, this article shall not apply to any subdivision of land that: (xi) Concerns the transfer of one (1) or more contiguous parcels owned by the same person under separate deeds. The exemption under this paragraph shall not apply if the property owner has intentionally merged the separate deeds into one (1) parcel according to county records. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2007. (END) 1 HB0267
