Section 1.

Emergency medical technicians working in a health care facility; rules and regulations.

An emergency medical technician as defined by W.S. 33
‑
36
‑
102(a)(x) may volunteer or be employed at a health care facility as defined by W.S. 35
‑
2
‑
901(a)(x) to perform activities within his scope of practice within the health care facility under the supervision of a physician, physician's assistant or a registered nurse.
The
activities
of the emergency medical technician
shall be performed in a manner established by rule and regulation adopted by the division.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
