AN ACT relating to the military department; providing for veteran's service offices throughout the state; providing for positions; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

(a)

There is appropriated
five
hundred
forty
-nine thousand dollars ($
54
9,000.00) from the general fund to the military department for the period beginning July 1, 2007 and ending June 30, 2008 for the purposes of establishing
a total of five (5)
offices of veteran's services to serve veterans throughout the state. The offices shall be situated to maximize the availability of services to veterans in all areas of the state
and shall include one (1) office in
Casper
.

(b)

There is authorized
four
(
4
) full-time equivalent positions to the military department for veteran's services officers for purposes of this act.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
