A BILL

for

AN ACT relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages; providing that employees of an alcoholic beverage licensee shall not participate in compliance checks of his employer; and providing for an effective date.

103(d) by creating a new paragraph (vi) is amended to read:

Compliance.

(d)

For purposes of this section, the term "compliance check" shall mean an inspection conducted pursuant to the provisions of this section for purposes of education or enforcement of laws prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors. The use of persons age eighteen (18) to twenty-one (21) during compliance checks is authorized subject to the following:

(vi)

An employee of a licensee shall not participate in a compliance check of his employer.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
