Sponsored by: Representative(s) Brown, Lubnau and Simpson A BILL for AN ACT relating to civil actions; providing for forcible entry and detainer actions upon foreclosure of executory contracts for the purchase of real property as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 1 ‑ 21 ‑ 1002(a) by creating a new paragraph (vii) is amended to read: 1 ‑ 21 ‑ 1002. When proceedings allowed. (a) Proceedings for forcible entry and detainer may be had in any of the following cases: (vii) In cases where the defendant has forfeited his interest in the real property under an executory contract, such as a contract for deed, for the purchase of real estate. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2007. (END) 1 HB0308
