A BILL

AN ACT relating to civil actions; providing for forcible entry and detainer actions upon foreclosure of executory contracts for the purchase of real property as specified; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

1002(a) by creating a new paragraph (vii) is amended to read:

When proceedings allowed.

(a)

Proceedings for forcible entry and detainer may be had in any of the following cases:

(vii)

In cases where the defendant has forfeited his interest in the real property under an executory contract, such as a contract for deed, for the purchase of real estate.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
