Summary/Major Elements: Requires all aboveground storage tank owners or operators by October 1, 2008: o To provide a minimum site assessment to the Department of Environmental Quality. o To substantially meet the construction requirements established for aboveground storage tanks. o To upgrade all existing aboveground storage tanks to meet the requirements established by the Department of Environmental Quality. o To provide for leak detection for all aboveground storage tanks. o To ensure that all aboveground storage tanks do not use suction systems with single walled pipe. Comments: This act is repealed on June 30, 2009.
