WORKING DRAFT 2007 STATE OF WYOMING 07LSO-0286 SENATE FILE NO. SF0024 Daylight saving time. Sponsored by: Senator(s) Cooper and Hastert and Representative(s) Davison and Walsh A BILL for AN ACT relating to daylight saving time; exempting the state from daylight saving time change; providing for observance of standard time; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 8 ‑ 4 ‑ 109 is created to read: 8 ‑ 4 ‑ 109. Exemption from daylight saving time change. The state exempts itself from the provisions of 15 U.S.C. 260a(a) advancing by one (1) hour the standard time during a stated period of each year. The entire state, including all political subdivisions, shall observe the standard time otherwise applicable during that period. Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon co m pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit u tion. (END) 1 SF0024
