Sponsored by: Joint Agriculture, Public Lands and Water Resources Interim Committee A BILL for AN ACT relating to the state engineer; granting rulemaking authority; ratifying existing rules; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 9 ‑ 1 ‑ 902 by creating a new subsection (c) is amended to read: 9 ‑ 1 ‑ 902. Duties and powers; representation of state at proceedings relating to water or water use; rulemaking authority. (c) The state engineer may adopt reasonable rules and regulations in accordance with the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act as necessary to implement t his article and other duties imposed up on him by law. Section 2. Rules and regulations adopted by the state engineer prior to March 1, 2007 and filed with the secretary of state as of that date are hereby ratified. Section 3 . This act is effective immediately upon co m pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit u tion. (END) 1 SF0028
