Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

by creating a new subsection (c)
is amended to read:

School bus standards; operators; vehicle operation
; maximum driving times
.

(c)

Each district shall establish and enforce maximum driving times for school bus operators which shall include school bus operations transporting students to and from school and to and from school activities. The maximum driving times
shall not permit or require any school bus operator to operate a school bus:

(i)

More than ten (10) hours following eight (8) consecutive hours of off duty time; or

(ii)

For any period of time after fifteen (15) hours of on duty time following eight (8) consecutive hours of off duty time; and

(iii)

For any period of time after:

(A)

Having been on duty for sixty (60) hours in any seven (7) consecutive day period if the school bus operator
is not employed to
operate school buses every day of the week
school is in session
;
or

(B)

Having been on duty for seventy (70) hours in any eight (8) consecutive day period if the school bus operator is employed to operate school buses every day of the week school is in session.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
