A BILL

for

AN ACT relating to a pronghorn antelope interpretive center; providing an appropriation; providing for matching funds; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

There is appropriated four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000.00) from the general fund to the department of state parks and cultural resources to be granted to a local government or joint powers board designated by the Carbon county board of county commissioners for planning, designing and constructing a pronghorn antelope interpretation center in Carbon county. This appropriation shall not be expended unless the entire appropriation is equally matched from nonstate sources by cash and until an agreement is executed by the state with a local government or joint powers board under which the costs of maintenance, operation and management of the interpretation center are borne by the local government or joint powers board. The title shall be held by a local government or joint powers board. No state funds or personnel shall be used in the operation, maintenance or management of the interpretive center.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2007.
